Violence has erupted two hours ago in Itang between the Nuer and Anyuak. This follows a serious of attack between the two communities with the passenger bus attacked yesterday on the Nuer where 15 people were wounded leaving 7 in critical condition.

After the truce which ended few months ago where so many lives were lost, the Anyuak began killing Nuer in Itang town at Night. The government led by President Omot Oulu has not been able to apprehend culprits.

As many Nuer were being killed with no accountability whatsoever, many people believe Gambella is a ticking time bomb as the government had no say as to how lives can be saved. Now with the bus attack yesterday, many would argue the government has lost the vision to lead.

By the time of this writings, fighting was still going on in Itang. It is important that the Ethiopian defence Force get deployed into the area to provide peace and security.
