A convoy of buses was coming from Lare Woreda to Gambella town scouted by Federal Police was attacked few kilometres from the Gambella town. Two people were killed instantly and another one later died in the hospital.

Scores of people were wounded some sustaining serious injuries. The attackers fled after inflicting these horrific injuries.  This is the first-time civilians came under the military scout came under attack. It is advisable that people do everything they should to minimize travel. Unnecessary travel in all costs would need to be avoided. More to follow on this.
