Like Oppo, the Komo are located in Gambella’s north western region in the mountains that border Gambella with Oromiya. Some people of the Komo ethinic group live in proximity with Anyuak .

The Komo dialect is nearly immersed to Anyuak dialect as many of the Komo people are scattered around Anyuak areas. The Komo are the least ethnic group in Gambella with only a population of 0.07 (224) in Gambella.
