Gambella, like many other regions of Ethiopia is accesseble by air from Addis Ababa. It is only a 55 minutes flight to from Addis Ababa.
Road transport is also good and improving gradually. Unlike in the past where passengers spent two or three days on the road with possibly two sleep overs, now passngers do not spent any day on thwe raod in most cases. If they do, it is then usually a one day beofre they could reach Gambella in the next day.
Gambella has a lot for those who want to see it. You see the indegineous population, 5 of the ehtnic groups who makebup Gambella and also the rivers, the scenic and many other attractive features in the region.
