The oppo are found in northern Gambella in the northern tip of Itang Wereda. The towns of Oppo people are Wankey and Mera. Even though the number of Oppo people is less than a thousand based on the 2007 G.C census, they are the fourth largest tribe in Gambella with 0.32% of the population.
